Get Clarity About Your Career Now.

When it comes to choosing a career, even the smartest person would have a million questions in his head that what to do and what not to do. For you, the one who's reading it could be that you have just completed your studies, or studying and are looking out for getting clarity about your future career. It could be also, someone who's already doing his job/business and is looking out for a new career. You'll get all the answers to your questions in this post unequivocally.
Outcomes of this blogpost :

1. Strategies To Discover Your True Gift

2. Transforming Your Vision Into Mission

3. Indulging & Pampering Yourself In What You Love

4. Freedom For What Your Deserve

So what career should you choose?
The best way to choose a career which is the best to your ability is by realising which Gift, you've in a greater magnitude and that makes you feel fulfilled when compared to the other gifts. Now, what are these Gifts which all of us are blessed with.

The 3 Gifts :

1. The Talent

2. Manager/Leader

3. Entrepreneur

Now, lets talk about them in detail.

The Talent : This refers to some ability that you possess, which you find is so magnificent and that you're the only one who can do that thing the best. For instance, it could be that you're a born singer by birth and you sing melodiously and you feel, you could be the next Michael Jackson. That's what called talent. Something which you possess and comes out effortlessly. Ask yourself is there anything that I possess, at which I feel nobody could do it better than the way I do?
Friends, if you've read the story of Colonel Sanders in my previous blogpost, wherein he possessed the talent or the ability of making the best chicken in the world. If you didn't read it yet, read it right now by clicking here, you'd be able to understand better about Talent. He had a great chicken recipe and he went on to sell it to the leading restaurants in return for asking him for a cut for what the restaurant owners would earn by selling his dish.

Manager/Leader : Manager refers to someone who can immensely get things done, in a harmonious way. It refers to someone who can deal with people or human resources. Someone who can get things back on track, if they aren't. Someone one leads others towards success. He's someone who would keep on working until he has achieved what he wanted. He would be possessing massive amounts of creative skills and knows how to handle and tackle every situation. How to face the odds and even turn adversities into opportunities. Steve Jobs is an apt example for a great manager. The way he deals with people, his perfection and commitment to his work was simply phenomenal and would be remembered for generations to come.

Entrepreneur : Entrepreneur refers to someone who's a huge risk taker. Often, people are afraid to take risks, but the kind of people who take massive risks achieve massive success. The best examples for entrepreneurs are, Dhirubhai Ambani, Henry Ford, Richard Branson, Ronald McDonalds. Entrepreneurs is someone who sees the bigger picture of everything, plans what he needs to do, gets the right people at the right job and implement the plan and control everything. An entrepreneur could not even have formal education (Dhirubhai Ambani) but his gargantuan risk taking skills, hiring the right people and implementing the plan, makes him successful. He's the Go-Getter!

Now, contemplate over these 3 Gifts. Everyone has all these 3 Gifts in themselves, but what's important is that which one of these gifts makes you feel fulfilled and alive?

Once, you're done with selecting which one these 3 Gifts makes you feel fulfilled. The next step is to brainstorm and write all that which comes to your head which would earn you a living with reference to the gift you possess. For instance, once you realise, that you an outstanding dancer, the next step is to what can you do or how can you use your talent i.e "dance" to make money.

If you're really confused, then you'd either stop and think for few days and realise which gift when used makes you feel alive and fulfilled. It took me couple of weeks to find out my true gift. Yes, it could make you feel at times worried that you don't know what your purpose is, but then its better to get a clear vision of what you really want to do rather than going along the flow and doing what brings you more money.
At times, you might achieve and accomplish massive success, be super rich but then you may not feel fulfilled. The vacuum that makes you feel, that you are missing something in your life, that's because that thing which you're doing daily, doesn't makes you feel satisfied. Its time, that then you should start thinking about a change in a career and find something that would make you feel happy.

Find a career that would make you feel willing to go to work the next day. Most successful people say that, they never work, because it isn't their work. Once, you find what you love and continue doing that, it won't seem like work at all. You would be able to work round the clock, no breaks needed. Time would just pass by and you won't know when its the time to leave. That's how, your life would be in total alignment when you find your career and pursue it.
Many students write to me that, they are confused about their career whether they should follow their heart or what their friends and family members suggest. To that, I would say that, eventually choose what you want and not what others including your family and friends want from you. Yeah, it sounds pretty selfish but if you don't feel fulfilled, you would sooner or later be bored, frustrated and eventually quit and think that I shouldn't have chosen this at the first place. You would definitely face opposition even from the most loved ones, but when they see that you're really good at that thing which you chose, they would be in complete harmony with you and then support you in your journey.

When writing your own story, let not others be the writer but yourself.

Because Kindness Keeps The World Afloat . . .

Friends how many of you'll have wishes & desires for yourself, your family & your loved ones? All of you'll have it, indeed. But ever thought of having wishes & desire or at least an intention to be kind & help someone whensoever possible? You'll might say, "Yes, I do." But let me tell you that's not always right? We are so busy with our lives, our goals, that we are getting more and more self centered, selfish, greedy and developing a "give no shit" attitude. Why am I being so blunt altogether? Because, you might have helped someone, but not all of you would have, also when it comes to helping someone on the streets, when people are around you, classy and decent people, who just pass by without helping someone not with money but with care and a helping hand, a thought certainly does comes to your mind, but then you replace it with pity and thinking, "What good could I possibly to do to him/her?" Yeah, that's right and you just move on.

Thing is we can't really help everyone in every way but surely can help someone in some or the other way.
OK, so you're thinking, "I don't have enough money that I'd do a charity." Well, why don't you just help your maid with English or something which you think, if learnt could make her even more productive and help her in anyway. You know, you can sponsor a kid for studies or help someone who isn't able to pay their medical bills but wants to live this life, go do something for them.
If not that, you are too busy with your work, just pass on a smile right? Its the least you could do, but you don't know what can just a smile and a helping hand could do. It starts a change altogether, doing certain random acts of kindness, without expectations.
Don't agree, watch this zestful video and open up your eyes, and go be the love. A must watch !

Warning : You might get teary eyes.

If you have the power to make someone happy, do it. The world needs more of that.

Let me tell you, what happened when I tried to be kind today, my own personal experience :

It was around 8:00 pm, I was on my way back home, I was pretty tired after working for the assignment that I had to submit the next day. I saw this man standing beside the road, one more step he takes ahead on that busy road, and he might end himself getting hurt or even die. I realised, the man was in his late 40's was back from office and was blind, I realised when I saw the stick in his hand. I was standing there, taken aback by seeing how self sufficient and independent this man was! You might say, he's just blind, it happens with many people and feel pity for him. But what I felt was much more than that, it was respect. I have known people around me, friends and family both who are physically and mentally fit but still don't work. Some are even broke. But this guy over there, worked round the clock and was his way back home. A hard worker, indeed.
Why is that that the people who have almost every resources that they need, still are just surviving and not succeeding & someone without almost no or very few resources makes it big? There isn't any drive or motivating factor in their life. Its important to be resourceful than being one with resources.

Gratitude, really? That also struck a cord for being grateful, for having this awesome and perfect body. We never know that these trillions of cells in our bodies are working 24 X 7, 365 Days to keep us alive. We never really appreciate our health and realise how important it is to be healthy until we lose it. We exploit it to the core, but never really take time to vitalise our body or to train it. So take time out of so called busy schedule daily and workout. It could be a heavy workout or it might be one that of a couple of minutes. But trust me, your body is just like vehicle, if you don't maintain it and keep exploiting it, one day it would give up on you and ultimately break down. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Ignorance Is Bliss? Not really. I also learnt while contemplating on this incident that there was hundreds of people walking beside that person, many of them just saw him, many just felt pity on him, and many just ignored and passed as if he wasn't even standing there. Even, I felt that, this isn't my work or duty to help this guy, but then a feeling arose to help and then I couldn't help myself but help him to drop home. I also got a chance to talk to this great guy, he told me that he had a family to support and hence he works even till late, to make ends meet. Great guy and who do you think benefited the most? It was me. I still could feel those high voltage vibrations inside my body after doing so little for him yet feels so great because of it. The joy of giving, be it as small as sharing a smile, it could almost change someone's entire day or the way they perceive things.

For instance, till then the visually challenged guy, must be thinking that the world is unfair to him, he is all alone and nobody to help, but when someone helped him a little, his entire world view could have changed. It really did, he told me he was wrong thinking that there we no good people alive anymore, he chuckled ! I thanked him back and continued for home. What a splendid day it was, helping someone made my day. You might feel happy and joyous when you make a lot of money for yourself or do something, knowing that you're gonna be rewarded. All of these my friends wont last forever, but when you do something for someone who can never pay you back for what you've done, that makes you feel contented. It makes you feel truly fulfilled and sense of bliss!

Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Transformational Vocabulary - The Unbelievable Power Of Words

I can't describe you how important words really are! Yesterday, we talked about the massive power of physiology, and I'd told that my next post would be that of "Communication - Internal & External." So here it is, friends I just said that, words are powerful, but what's even more powerful? Yes, the tonality of voice.

Did you know that, the reason behind most of the fights, is actually the tonality of your voice and not actually what you are communicating.

Its more about How you say it rather than What you say it.

For instance, think of the last time, you got into a serious fight with someone, now just change the tonality of your voice, mentally. Lower the pitch, or say it in an amusing way, while you're getting angry. I tried this myself after learning about it and ended up in laughter with the person, I was getting into a fight with. It's really fun and exciting way to turn around the things to your benefit.
Words have unbelievable power, if you know how to use them correctly. The words which you are using every single moment, is shaping your own destiny. Think about great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, his carefully chosen words didn't just made people listen, but put them to action. Mahatma Gandhi wanted India to unite together, and march out the Britishers out of our country. Well, that's sound easy, get some guns, kill some Britishers because they were outnumbered hugely. But, he wanted all this to happen peacefully. To achieve this outcome of his, he used words in a way that not only stopped Indians from killing the Britishers but also made them aware about their true self which is peaceful, calm and serene. He said, "An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole worlds blind." With such words, and his weapon of Satgyagrayha ( Non Violence )  he set the ball rolling. He also said, "Do or Die" which made people to take massive action to lead India to Freedom. Similarly, Martin Luther King used words, "I have a dream." Words can either get the best of you, or make you feel the best. They could either make you feel miserable or make you feel blissful.

However, this is the External Part of Communication. But what's up with Transformational

Vocabulary? How can you use these words to your benefit & put them to action? OK so now, just think of the word, "Chivalry" or "Integrity" do these words make you feel a lot better?

Words bring about a massive change in your bio-chemistry

A humongous way to incorporate this vocabulary is by changing your "Shoulds" into "Musts."
For instance, think of something you are unable to do. It could be say doing your homework, or going to the gym because you know you need to lose some weight, finding a new job, making things happen. It could be anything, but the reason why you haven't achieved is that, that you don't want that thing bad enough. You might say, "What are you crazy? I've been trying so hard to get that thing, or achieve those results from so long and you say that I don't want it bad enough?" Well, what I meant by "bad enough" is not the "bad enough" which exists in your dictionary. Bad enough means that, not just wanting but doing all it takes to achieve that, as bad as you want to breath to stay alive. It means that even if I have to put off sleep, I'd to achieve something. That's what "Bad Enough" for me is. There, it always depends upon the frame of your reference. That task of yours is just a "Should."

Here's when your Internal Communication comes in, your internal self talk is more vital than the external one. You haven't achieved that task because you keep on saying to yourself, "I should do this" , "I should lose some weight" , "I should quit my job and find a better one." But you see, this ain't helping right? Now, try saying, "I must do this" or "I must lose some weight" and so on. How does this sound? Replace your Shoulds into Musts for the goal you want to achieve.

The Gargantuan & Massive Power Of Physiology

Are you having problems about thinking too much about your past or worrying about your future? Tried everything including positive thinking and other tools and techniques to get over it or stop over thinking but aren't able to bring about a permanent change? Then here's something for you.

Did you know that the way you feel is based upon two things

1. Your Body Language [Physical State]
2. Your Communication [Internal & External Communication]

Today we are going to talk about the first one. Body language accounts up to 93% of your communication. Interesting, isn't it?

The Change in your PHYSIOLOGICAL State brings about a tremendous Change in your PSYCHOLOGICAL & EMOTIONAL State.
Did you know that the way you Feel Right Now is greatly influenced by the Physical State you are currently in. A small change or shift in your body, would bring a major change in your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Now lets start talking about how and what can you do to avoid getting into feelings and emotions which make you feel low and you can't seem to do anything except crying or beating yourself up.
The image that is in the very beginning of the post, it shows the ultimate confidence and the feeling of certainty and feeling powerful. Just model or copy the exact same posture RIGHT NOW. You'll start to feel even more confident, powerful and certain. That's the massive power of physiology.

That's Change in your state.

Notice the next time you are low or feeling terrible, you'll have these few things in common for sure :

1. Head hung low

2. Sloppy shoulder

3. Spine won't be erect

4. Shallow breathing

Obviously there won't be any smile on the face. Now when you've noticed this you need to simply change these into these :

1. Head up, not exactly looking at the sky which would make you look stupid but just a little above the normal as if you are very certain and strong

2. Shoulders pulled up and fastened backwards a little, exactly the way when you used to stand in an "Attention" pose during your National Anthem

3. Spine Erect

4. Deep breathing

And one more very important thing you could do is wear a smile on your face and realize that you are not the one who is carrying all the problems and burden of the entire world on your head. U could try to smile, you know.

You might be thinking all this sounds good but HOW would it help me?

Well, just try these simple steps the next time you feel miserable and see the change

The above mentioned stuff is very powerful to bring about a definite and major change in the way you feel.
Just by Changing Your Physiology, you can change your Emotional State. Don't believe me? Try those steps right now while reading this. Don't think now, Act and know for yourself whether this works or not?
Thinking whether its that easy? Yes, it certainly is. Good things are always kept simple and easy but we don't know them or don't follow them.

Remember, What's Easy To Do Is Also Easy Not To Do.

Refer to this video to know more :

Tony Robbins - INSTANT Change of Your STATE

I hope you get what I mean, follow these steps first, put it to test and then judge or comment over it.

Stay tuned, know about the other aspect which affects our lives hugely, that is our Internal & External Communication in my next post, tomorrow.

Short Story : Know Your Self Worth

A well-known speaker started off her seminar by holding up a Rs. 1000 note. In the room of 200 people, she asked, “Who would like this Rs 1000 note?”

Hands started going up. She said, “I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this”

She proceeded to crumple the note up. She then asked, “Who still wants it?”

Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” she replied, “What if I do this?”

And she dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. She picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

“Now who still wants it?”

Still the hands went into the air.

“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rs 1000/-.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.”

You are special…..
Don’t ever forget it!

Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams.

“VALUE HAS A VALUE”….. ONLY IF IT’S VALUE IS VALUED BY YOU.

Be Your Own Hero

As Paulo Coelho, Author of The International Best seller, The Alchemist mentioned in his book, What you still need to know is this: before a dream is realised, the Soul of the World tests everything that was learnt along the way. It does this not because it is evil, but so that we can, in addition to realising our dreams, master the lessons we’ve learnt as we’ve moved toward that dream. That’s the point at which, as we say in the language of the desert, one ‘dies of thirst just when the palm trees have appeared on the horizon.’“Every search begins with beginner’s luck. And every search ends with the victor’s being severely tested.”

The journey of the "one" may not be as easy as it seems, but definitely would be worth it. People say that they like surprises, but they are Wrong. They call Surprises which make them feel good for timing, others which come unexpectedly are termed as Problems. Usually, when people face trials and deadlocks, they keep on asking, "Why Me?" There surely would be severe tests which one would have to face because The Universe, would like to know whether, he is capable of achieving all he wants to. People often criticize and complain about all the things that they lack in life. They never truly know the meaning of being grateful and appreciate the things which they currently have in their lives. Because the things they have Now, were once the things, they wanted to Have in their lives. But, once their wish got fulfilled, it was taken for granted. Now, even the hardships are not dealt with but are accepted, because it makes them feel even more comfortable than getting their asses up and go work a way out of it!

What I'm trying to say is, Life would obviously throw challenges at you. One who calls something which they didn't want or makes them uncomfortable as a "Problem" already makes it even bigger than the matter actually is. There doesn't exists anything as a "Problem" in the vocabulary of the people who have been successful. They call them "Challenges" because it motivates them to face it and eventually win. Don't forget that mistakes are painful when they happen, but years later collection of mistakes are termed as "Experience" which leads to "Success."

So get outta of your comfort zone & face a challenge which you've been taking for granted or thinking that there's a no way out of this. If you don't live for something, you'll die for nothing.

Next time, you face a Challenge, don't say "Why Me?" rather say, "Try Me."

The Real Rocky Story : Sly Stallone

Rocky’s story is this even, right? But Sly’s is too. Sly is a good friend of mine and when I first met him years ago, he’s listening to my tapes and stuff and he invited me over for dinner. We started talking and I said, “You know, I’ve heard your story from other people. But I would really like to hear it from the horse’s mouth. I don’t know how much is mythology and urban myth and how much is true.”

So he told me his whole story. He said the essence of it though was he knew his whole life what he wanted to do since he was very, very young. He wanted to be in the movie business, period. I mean not just TV, movies. Yes, he said why was – for him it was a chance to have people – not only escape but to inspire people and by the way, that drive is what made most of his movies inspire people to what they’re capable of, to overcome unbelievable obstacles because in his own life, he felt like he did that.

When he was born, he was pulled out by the forceps that’s why he looked the way he did. That’s why he talked the way he did. And he said, “So I really want to do that and I knew why I want to do it and I wasn’t going to settle for anything else.” And he said, “What happened was, I went out to try and get jobs and it’s not like and they went, ‘You, you’re a star.’ It didn’t work out real well.”

They looked at me and said, “Hey, you’re stupid looking. Do something else.” He was just talking like this. “There’s no place for you in that stuff. You’re never going to be a star in the movies. You’re insane. No one is going to want all of this if somebody looks dopey and talks out of the side of their mouth, right?“ And he got no after no after no after no.

He said, “I was thrown out more than 1500 times of agent’s offices in New York.” I said, “There aren’t 1500 agents in New York.” He said, “I know. I’ve been to them five, six, seven, eight, nine times, went in there and I got in there at 4 o’clock and he wouldn’t see me so I stayed there and I wouldn’t leave and I stayed overnight. When he came back the next morning, I was still sitting there.”

He said, “That’s why I got my first job.” The guy said, “Fine. Come in here.” He sat down and he went through this and he gave him that first movie. I said, “Oh really? I thought Rocky was your first movie.” He said, “No, this other movie.” I’ve never heard of it. I said, “Well, what character do you play?” He said, “I was in it for about 20 seconds. I was a thug that somebody beat up.” He said, “Because they made me feel like you’re getting beat up. It will be a good thing.”

He did like three movies like that, never got anything, kept going out, rejection, rejection, rejection. So finally he realized it wasn’t working. So he changed his approach. He said, “I was starving by the way.” He said, “I couldn’t pay for even to have heat in my apartment. My wife was screaming at me everyday to go get a job.” I said, “Well, why didn’t you?” He said,“Because I knew that if I got a job,” he said, “I would get seduced back and I would lose my hunger.”

He said, “I knew that the only way I could do this is if it was the only choice, if I burned all other bridges because if I did a normal job, pretty soon, I would be caught up in that rhythm and that stuff and I would feel OK about my life and I feel like my dream would just gradually disappear.” He said,

“I wanted to keep that hunger.”

“That hunger is the only thing I thought was my advantage,”

“My wife didn’t understand that at all.”

He said, “We got these vicious fights,” and he said it was freezing. “So I was broke. We have no money,” and he said, “So I finally went to the public library one day because it was warm.”He said, “I didn’t want to read anything. Just I went in, the New York Public Library.” He said,“I was hanging out there. I sat down this chair and somebody left a book there,” and he said,“I looked at this book and there were stories of Edgar Allan Poe.” And he said, “So I started reading it. I got totally into Edgar Allan Poe.” He said, “I know everything about him,” and he goes on for another 20 minutes telling me about Edgar Allan Poe. He knows everything, how he died, what he was about, what really happened.

I said, “What did Poe do for you?” He said, “Poe got me out of myself. He got me to think about how I could touch other people, not worry about myself so much.” He said, “He made me decide to become a writer.” I said, “Just imagine, Rocky the writer, right?” And he said, “So I tried to write a bunch of screenplays. Nothing worked. Nothing worked. I was totally broke.”He said, “I didn’t even have 50 bucks,” and he said, “Finally, I sold a script. It was called Paradise Alley. It’s the movie I made many years later but I sold it.” And he said, “I sold it for 100 bucks.” He said, “But 100 bucks was a ton of money, man. I was so thrilled. I thought I’m on my way but it never led to anything.”

He said, “So finally, I kept going and going and going.” He said, “Finally, we were so broke, I hocked my wife’s jewelry.” He said, “Tony, there are some things in life you should never do.”He said, “That was basically the end of our relationship. She hated my guts so much.”

He said, “Now we are so broke. We had nothing, no food, no money.” And he said, “The one thing I love most in the world was my dog.” He said,

“I love my dog because he gave me unconditional love unlike my wife.”

And he said, “So what happened was that we were so broke, that to survive, I couldn’t even feed my dog so I went to a liquor store.” He said, “It was the lowest day of my life and I stood outside the liquor store trying to sell my dog to strangers.” He said, “I tried to sell my dog for 50 bucks.” And he said, “Finally, this one guy negotiated with me and bought my dog from me, my best friend on earth for $25.” He said, “I walked away from there and I cried.” He said,“It was the worst thing that ever happened to my life.”

He said, “Two weeks later, I’m watching a fight between Muhammad Ali and Wepner, this white guy that’s getting bludgeoned but just keeps on coming,” and he said, “I got an idea.”He said, “As soon as the fight ended, I started writing.” He said, “I wrote for 20 straight hours. I did not sleep. I wrote the entire movie in 20 hours straight, right then. Saw the fight, wrote the movie, whole thing done.” He said, “I was shaking at the end. I was so excited. So I really knew, man. I knew what I wanted. I knew why I wanted it.” He said, “Just like formula.” He said, “But man, I took the action. Now it’s time to deliver.” So he said, “I went out and started trying to sell it to agents and they all would read it and they would say, “You know, this is predictable. This is stupid. This is sappy.” He said, “I wrote down all the things they said and I read them the night of the Oscars when we won.”

Right? It was really good, right? So the greatest revenge is massive success. So what happened was he said, “I kept going, trying to sell it, trying to sell it. Nobody got it. I’m broke. I’m starving.” He said, “Finally, I meet these guys. They read it and they believed in the script and they loved it and they offer me $125,000 for my script.” I said, “Oh my god. You must have been out of your mind.” He said, “I was. I said just one thing though, guys. You got a deal based on one thing.” And they said, “What’s that?” He said, “I got to star in it.” They went – what are you talking about? You’re a writer. He said, “No, no. I’m an actor.” They said, “No, no, no. You’re a writer.” He said, “No, no. I’m an actor.”

” That is my story and I’m Rocky. “

He said, “I got to play it. I got to be the head person. I got to be the starring role.” “There’s no way we’re going to pay you $125,000, take some no-name and stick you in that and throw our money away. We need a star.” And they want to have Ryan O’Neal play Rocky, to give you a picture. Can you imagine? That’s who they picked, right? And so he said, “No way. Ryan O’Neal isn’t Rocky. I’m Rocky. We do this whole thing right.” They said, “Well, take it or leave it.” He said, “I left the room.” I said, “If that’s what you believe, you don’t get my script,”and he left. Here’s a man with no money, none, totally broke, offered $125,000, more money that he had seen in his lifetime and he walked away because he knew his real – what? Knew his real what? And why he wanted it. He was committed to it.

So he said they called him a few weeks later and they came running back and they offered him a quarter of a million dollars, not to star in his own movie. He turned it down, $250,000. They came back. Their final offer was $325,000. They wanted this thing. He said,“Not without me,” and he said no. They finally compromised and they gave him $35,000 and of the movie because they said, “If this is going to happen, then you’re going to take the risk with us and the bottom line is we don’t take it and spend a bunch of money on you.”

And then they only spent a million dollars to make Rocky and it grossed $200 million. I mean it was done pretty well but what’s interesting about this is here’s – I said, “What did you do?” Even $35,000, it’s not a quarter of a million, that’s a lot of money when you only have 25 bucks. I said, “What’s the first thing you did? I figured you went out and partied or something.” He said, “I went to that liquor store for three straight days and hoped that the man who had my dog frequented the store.”

He says, “I want to buy back my dog.” That was really cool, right? That was really cool. I said, “What happened?” He said, “Third day I was there, this guy walks by and I see him and I can’t believe it and there’s my dog. And I looked at him. I said, ‘Sir, remember me?’” And he said, “It had been about a month and a half by the time this had all come about.” He said, “Remember me? You know, I’m the guy who sold you the dog.” He goes, “Yes, yes. I love the dog.” He said, “Look, I was so broke. I was starving. He’s my best friend. I’m sure you love him too but I got to have him back. Please, I beg of you.” He said, “I will pay you $100 for the dog. I know you paid me $25. I will give you $100.” The man said, “Absolutely not. No way. It’s my dog now. You can’t buy him back.”

All right? And Sly said, “You know, Tony. Know your outcome.” He said, “I knew it. I kept changing my approach so I went $500 for the dog.” The guy said, “Absolutely no way.” He said, “A thousand dollars for my dog.” The guy said, “No amount of money is ever going to get this dog for you.” So what did you do? He said, “I knew my outcome.” Right? He said,“I started taking massive action.” He said, “I got my dog. I just kept changing my approach so I got him.”

I said, “What did it cost you?” Fifteen thousand dollars and a part in Rocky. The guy is in Rocky. You know that dog in Rocky? Butkus? That’s Sly’s real dog. Right? That’s the dog. He bought it back. So he put his dog in the movie and he put the guy in the movie, paid him 15 grand while he only had $35,000. Isn’t that pretty cool? It’s pretty awesome.
