4. Freedom For What Your Deserve

So what career should you choose?
The best way to choose a career which is the best to your ability is by realising which Gift, you've in a greater magnitude and that makes you feel fulfilled when compared to the other gifts. Now, what are these Gifts which all of us are blessed with.

The 3 Gifts :

1. The Talent

2. Manager/Leader

3. Entrepreneur

Now, lets talk about them in detail.

The Talent : This refers to some ability that you possess, which you find is so magnificent and that you're the only one who can do that thing the best. For instance, it could be that you're a born singer by birth and you sing melodiously and you feel, you could be the next Michael Jackson. That's what called talent. Something which you possess and comes out effortlessly. Ask yourself is there anything that I possess, at which I feel nobody could do it better than the way I do?
Friends, if you've read the story of Colonel Sanders in my previous blogpost, wherein he possessed the talent or the ability of making the best chicken in the world. If you didn't read it yet, read it right now by clicking here, you'd be able to understand better about Talent. He had a great chicken recipe and he went on to sell it to the leading restaurants in return for asking him for a cut for what the restaurant owners would earn by selling his dish.

Manager/Leader : Manager refers to someone who can immensely get things done, in a harmonious way. It refers to someone who can deal with people or human resources. Someone who can get things back on track, if they aren't. Someone one leads others towards success. He's someone who would keep on working until he has achieved what he wanted. He would be possessing massive amounts of creative skills and knows how to handle and tackle every situation. How to face the odds and even turn adversities into opportunities. Steve Jobs is an apt example for a great manager. The way he deals with people, his perfection and commitment to his work was simply phenomenal and would be remembered for generations to come.

Entrepreneur : Entrepreneur refers to someone who's a huge risk taker. Often, people are afraid to take risks, but the kind of people who take massive risks achieve massive success. The best examples for entrepreneurs are, Dhirubhai Ambani, Henry Ford, Richard Branson, Ronald McDonalds. Entrepreneurs is someone who sees the bigger picture of everything, plans what he needs to do, gets the right people at the right job and implement the plan and control everything. An entrepreneur could not even have formal education (Dhirubhai Ambani) but his gargantuan risk taking skills, hiring the right people and implementing the plan, makes him successful. He's the Go-Getter!

Now, contemplate over these 3 Gifts. Everyone has all these 3 Gifts in themselves, but what's important is that which one of these gifts makes you feel fulfilled and alive?

Once, you're done with selecting which one these 3 Gifts makes you feel fulfilled. The next step is to brainstorm and write all that which comes to your head which would earn you a living with reference to the gift you possess. For instance, once you realise, that you an outstanding dancer, the next step is to what can you do or how can you use your talent i.e "dance" to make money.

If you're really confused, then you'd either stop and think for few days and realise which gift when used makes you feel alive and fulfilled. It took me couple of weeks to find out my true gift. Yes, it could make you feel at times worried that you don't know what your purpose is, but then its better to get a clear vision of what you really want to do rather than going along the flow and doing what brings you more money.
At times, you might achieve and accomplish massive success, be super rich but then you may not feel fulfilled. The vacuum that makes you feel, that you are missing something in your life, that's because that thing which you're doing daily, doesn't makes you feel satisfied. Its time, that then you should start thinking about a change in a career and find something that would make you feel happy.

Find a career that would make you feel willing to go to work the next day. Most successful people say that, they never work, because it isn't their work. Once, you find what you love and continue doing that, it won't seem like work at all. You would be able to work round the clock, no breaks needed. Time would just pass by and you won't know when its the time to leave. That's how, your life would be in total alignment when you find your career and pursue it.
Many students write to me that, they are confused about their career whether they should follow their heart or what their friends and family members suggest. To that, I would say that, eventually choose what you want and not what others including your family and friends want from you. Yeah, it sounds pretty selfish but if you don't feel fulfilled, you would sooner or later be bored, frustrated and eventually quit and think that I shouldn't have chosen this at the first place. You would definitely face opposition even from the most loved ones, but when they see that you're really good at that thing which you chose, they would be in complete harmony with you and then support you in your journey.

When writing your own story, let not others be the writer but yourself.
